Law Enforcement Services Beyond Reproach
Constable Chris Jones began serving with the Precinct 5 Constable's office in 1996 upon graduating from Sam Houston State University. During his tenure, Constable Jones has held every position rising in rank from Reserve Deputy to Chief Deputy. Chris Jones was appointed Constable of Montgomery County Precinct 5 on October 1, 2018 upon the retirement and recommendation of former Constable David Hill, and became the duly elected Constable of the Precinct after winning the general election in 2020. Constable Chris Jones has been in law enforcement since 1996, possessing a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Management and is certified as a Master Peace Officer.
Constable Jones has been a long-time resident of Montgomery County, where he graduated from Magnolia High School. He is a devoted and respected man with Christian principles, and understands the importance of providing a safe environment in which residents of his community are given the opportunity to live, grow and prosper. Working together with the community as a team, he knows we can make a difference and enhance the quality of life for all. He is a husband to his beautiful wife Melissa and a proud father of five children. He enjoys hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
